The highlight of this 10-day winter carnival is the exciting series of dogsled races that happen annually on the third Saturday in February and pit Bancroft's best against teams from around Canada. Other fun activities at the carnival include horse-drawn sleigh rides, craft displays, silent auctions and of course plenty of hot cocoa and apple cider.
